Our gathering goes on for 3 full days and is filled with Ceremony\u2026 Experiences that YOU participate in and are transformed by. Wisdom and culture is shared throughout the gathering by Elders of all nations. We are blessed to have Internationally known speakers that inspire great change, allowing YOU to experience life through new eyes, seen from all perspectives, and brings greater understanding, compassion, and love for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


We feature live music, drumming, drum circles, women\u2019s circles and men\u2019s gatherings. Vendors and artists who offer one-of-a-kind jewelry, drums, flutes, medicine bags, healing tools, and crystals.
Our food vendor, Loving Healthy, offers great snacks and meals ranging from $3-$14. All ethically sourced and cooked with love. Tasty, great, and healthy choices for those with unique dietary needs. Vegan and Non-Vegan options are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Woodland Altars is an Appalachian scenic retreat. It is nestled in the beautiful hills of Adams County, only 6 miles from The Great Serpent Mound. The land is on an Ancient Sea Bed Centered in a 320 million year old Meteor Impact Crater. Located 75 miles east of Cincinnati, 76 Miles Southeast of Dayton and 80 Miles South of Columbus. Located on 33200 State Route 41 in Peebles, Ohio 45660.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is an Ojibwe elder and spiritual advisor. Raised on an Ojibwe reservation in northern Minnesota and experiencing first-hand the challenges of alcohol and drug addiction, Great-Grandmother Mary Lyons wrestled with her own demons as she learned from Native elders and her ancestors how to live a positive, fulfilled life. Now a tireless advocate for fostered, adopted and at-risk children from all backgrounds, she travels and teaches internationally, passing on the wisdom from her indigenous tradition.
Great Grandmother Mary Lyons is an International keynote speaker and seminar leader, from the Parliament of World Religions, NYC Climate March, Global Elder\u2019s Gathering on Climate Change and a United Nations Indigenous Observer, just to mention a few. She is the author of Wisdom Lessons, focusing on self-development, self-care and personal empowerment.Her platform passion is \u201cReweaving the forgotten ancestral history and codes of the Great Mystery, we touch on moments in \u2018there-story.\u201d Great-Grandmother Mary Lyons teaches seminars internationally and has appeared on radio around the world. She has a passion for helping people to broaden their perspective on reality, and for helping empower individuals to recognize and step into their wholeness.She has dedicated her life to helping people take command of their lives in highly effective, powerful, positive ways. A pioneer in the human potential field, she has spent nearly 50 years teaching thousands of people meditation, prayer, affirmation, and intuition.Great-Grandmother Mary Lyons is a visionary co-founder of several global groups, Women of Wellbriety, Int\u2019l, a 100% volunteer on-line wellness group with yearly gatherings that promotes sobriety and healing. Amongst her strong commitments, she is one of the 5 women whom co-founded the global \u201cGrandmothers of the Sacred WE, etc\u201d. She developed a Circle Leadership style of organizational structure to bring the collaborate process to change the hierarchical structure in today\u2019s society.She continues to work at the intersections the criminal justice, environmental issues, child welfare systems and develops policy and advocacy strategies to help reduce the chances of family separation and MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women).She is a writer, storyteller and has published books about spirituality, self-examination, and cross-cultural understanding. She is also a community organizer, world traveler and has often appeared in the media as an activist for climate justice and social justice issues. As an Ojibwe Elder, a non-violent direct-action activist, she believes we can change the world for the better again if we come together as a community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terri Rivera or Ho Waste Winyan,<\/strong> means Good Voice or Good Talk Woman, Dakota name implies you speak the truth and from your heart. She is one of the founders of Serpent Mound Star Knowledge Spring Seed and Water Peace Summit.She grew up in Idaho along the Snake River and now lives just three miles from the Serpent Mound at the alternateuniverserockshop.com.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both her Home\/Shop are on the southeastern edge of a five-mile wide impact crater and sit a top of a 17.5 km long fault line that is miles deep. That combination emits a constant flow of positive energy. Terri has presented at workshops throughout the U.S. and Mexico and has worked with healers from around the world to hold spiritual retreats in various global locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Johnson<\/strong> has a Smithsonian Gallery & World Wide Collection of Trilobite The ROCK SHOP (House of Phacops, Alternate Universe) Is a rock shop and trilobite gallery. On a small 1 acre patch of land at the intersection of State Route 41 and State Route 73, just 3 miles from SERPENT MOUND State Park. It sits on the Southeastern edge of a 5 mile wide IMPACT CRATOR and on top of A DEEP 17.5 km long FAULT that is miles deep thus EMITTING A CONSTANT FLOW OF POSITIVE ENERGY.The Trilobite Gallery was created in 1986 to display the Thomas T. Johnson Collection at the Smithsonian, and later moved to the House of Phacops. Many of the Trilobites in the gallery were loaned to the Smithsonian\u2019s \u201cLife in the Ancient Seas\u201d Gallery before being re-united with the House of Phacops Gallery in 1990. Some of the specimens have been viewed by over 200 million Smithsonian visitors. Tom Johnson, owner of The House of Phacops, began researching the Isotelus Trilobite, Official State Fossil of Ohio, in 1985. The largest known example of the State fossil is on exhibit at his shop. Grandmother Susan Ka\u2019iulani<\/strong> Susan Stanton (Nanatusi Aukwe \u2013 Chiefmoon Lady), is one of the original founders and immediate past president of the Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation, Susan was born on the island of Oahu and raised her children on their 6-acre Kuleana in a remote valley on the North Shore. It was not until she entered her pre-Elder years that she learned that her birth mother is Jeanne House, Six Nations of the Grand River, Mohawk\/Wolf Clan. Bi-cultural, Susan was a member for a short time of the Hui Hooulu Aloha Halau, under the direction of Kumu Hula Cy Bridges. She Sundanced at the Chiefmoon Sundance on the Blood Reserve in Alberta, Canada, and has been initiated to carry Crystal Medicine. She is an initiate of the White Buffalo Cow Society (Mandan) and has worked for 23 years with incarcerated Men, Women and Youth of many Tribes as a Spiritual counselor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Ross Hamilton:<\/strong> Born in 1948 in New York, University of Cincinnati alumnus Ross Hamilton is a writer and researcher currently specializing in piecing together ancient North American prehistory with a view toward understanding the hidden heritage of the American continent for its future spiritual advancement. Ross\u2019 book, The Mystery of the Serpent Mound, represents a 12-year research effort to correlate the main body of the teachings of the ancient Mystery Colleges to the shape and design of the famous earthwork. He also authored \u2018A Tradition of Giants\u2019 about the race of mound-building Giants of North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Aunty Pooki Lee <\/strong>A beautiful soul flower is what comes to mind when you hear or meet the inspiring Pooki Lee. She is of Hawaiian descent and respectfully carries her roots truly bringing the spirit of Aloha wherever she goes. Pooki Lee was chosen as the Vision Keeper for Unity Earth in 2020 after returning from the sacred trip to the Holy Land with Global leaders from around the world. It was unanimous that Pooki Lee be appointed the second person only into this position. An honor in which she holds sacred to her mission and vision for the Earth. Pooki\u2019s prayers and ceremonies are deeply felt as she holds the vision for peace love and unity for all of mankind and beings everywhere.
